Bridging the Gap: Unlocking Digital Life Skills for the Justice-Impacted Community webinar

For Digital Inclusion Week, the Digital Equity Program, the David Rothenberg Center for Public Policy (DRCPP), and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee hosted a webinar to shine a spotlight on the challenges that formerly incarcerated people face when they re-enter a digital society. Developing digital life skills after incarceration can be extremely difficult for formerly incarcerated people, preventing them from accessing public benefits and telehealth appointments, navigating mass transit, and utilizing everyday technology like QR codes and tap-and-go pay or self-checkout. This webinar offers pre- and post-release solutions to help justice-impacted individuals bridge the digital divide.
