  • Program Administrative Assistant

    Position Summary:

    The Program Administrative Assistant serves multiple functions in this program.  The assistant carries a clerical load, helping collect data from counselors, ensuring that data is correct at collection point, enters data into both agency and NYS database systems, and helps with data reporting. The assistant also helps with client scheduling and other administrative tasks to ensure the program’s smooth operation. Finally, the assistant may have direct interaction with clients for non-clinical purposes, ensuring that specified forms are completed and signed or other coordinative tasks.  Duties will be performed using person-centered, respectful communication and relationship-building skills.

    The Account Manager is responsible for the direct placement of job seekers, working with the Career Advisors to review candidates’ resumes, provide job interview coaching, strategically place them based on skill set and overall ability, and provide post-placement follow-up services to determine job satisfaction; track and analyze each candidate’s interview/placement activity and develop new employment partners.

    The Substance Use Counselor is responsible for providing case management and substance use counseling for a caseload of approximately 25-30 Alternative-to-Incarceration participants with a history of criminal justice involvement.
