We are currently conducting a research study to measure the results of incentivizing the purchase of fruits and vegetables for SNAP participants in the Harlem community.  To track the results of our program, we are monitoring incentive participants’ shopping and consumption over time. We do this at the individual level by reviewing exact fruit and vegetable purchases over and analyzing the quantity and types of produce purchased.  Familiarity with fruits and vegetables and ability to convert fruits and vegetables into standard measurements is very helpful as is interest in nutrition epidemiology.
