    Position Summary:

    The Medical Director is responsible for oversight and treatment of all participants in both Fortune Society’s Article-31 outpatient mental health clinic, and Fortune Society’s Article 32/822 outpatient chemical dependence clinic.   Medical Director reviews policies and procedures, helps guide treatment strategy overall, supervises the staff Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, and consults with staff regarding specific clients.  Must also sign off on treatment plans for all OMH clinic clients. While not the primary psychiatric provider, he/she will provide some direct service psychiatric evaluations and/or psychiatric follow-ups.

    Position Summary:

    This key position is the first point of contact for clients, visitors, guests and staff who come to The Better Living Center, as well as managing the overall flow of clients.  The receptionist checks in clients upon arrival, answers phones, schedules intake appointments and may assist with rescheduling appointments.  The receptionist also provides important clerical / administrative support to clinic staff.  The successful candidate will be organized, out-going, energetic, detail-oriented, and be comfortable using person-centered, respectful communication and relationship-building skills.
