    The I-CAN program provides pre and post release services to individuals incarcerated in the Department of Correction. The mentor will help mentee(s) develop a plan for completing goals and retention as it pertains to enrollment in ICAN services, assist with the coordination of services and follow up with mentee(s) progress in reference to discharge planning and/or transitional services, support and motivate mentee(s) with respect to goal achievements, and identify strategies and/or innovative ideas to encourage and increase participation.
