A webinar by the Digital Equity Program, the David Rothenberg Center for Public Policy, and the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. For Digital Inclusion Week, we are shining a spotlight on the challenge that formerly incarcerated people face when they re-enter a digital society.
This challenge is developing digital life skills, which is the ability to use technology to navigate life. Some examples of these include accessing public benefits and telehealth, using QR codes, tap-and-go, self-checkout, and navigating mass transit. We will identify pre- and post-release solutions to help justice-impacted individuals bridge the digital divide.
