    Position Summary:

    The Fortune Society is seeking a Communications Assistant to support our efforts to share information about NYC’s Test and Trace Program and COVID-19 safety protocol to communities with high rates of justice involvement. This position is part of a 4-month grant from NYC Health + Hospitals to educate populations hardest hit by COVID-19 about the importance of testing, safety protocol, and responding to NYC’s Test & Trace Corps.

    The Communications Assistant will assist the Communications Associate in designing posters and print materials, creating social media graphics, drafting social media posts and email blasts, and developing strategies for sharing information about the Test and Trace Program.

    The Senior Director of Employee Relations works in concert with the AVP of Human Resources to provide leadership and guidance on the administration of all employee relations issues, developing strategies to minimize the number and impact of legal claims related to agency employment practices. This position oversees the recruitment, selection and on-boarding process for new hires, compliance related training, the resolution of employee performance issues, and the smooth voluntary and involuntary exiting of employees from the agency. May be called upon to serve as surrogate in absence of AVP of HR.

    The CRTF Coordinator is responsible for the overall performance of the Queens County Reentry Task Force and serves as the primary liaison between DOCCS, CRTF and DCJS in the coordination and management of services provided to clients for successful re-entry into the community.
