    Position Summary:

    The Fortune Society’s Food and Nutrition program promotes access to nourishing food. Through food and nutrition we support the communities where formerly incarcerated people return. Further, we believe successful re-entry is incumbent upon meeting basic human needs like hunger. We take this a step further by insisting that the hundreds of meals we serve daily are both healthy and scrumptious.

    The commis fulfills a variety of functions including serving meals. S/he will also work stations as needed including the Academy residence hall, LIC kitchen and at special events and grant-funded workshops.

    The Fortune Society is seeking an innovative, client-centered, strategic thinker to join our Health Home Care Management team. S/he will have overall day-to-day responsibility for connecting criminally justice involved patients, with complex medical and/or mental health conditions, to the full range of medical and mental health services they require. This is a growth position for the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and a willingness to think outside of the box for the betterment of his/her assigned caseload.

    Position Summary:

    Reporting to the Senior Director of Evaluation & Quality Improvement, the Operations Auditor will shape and fulfill the program audit and quality assurance agenda of the Fortune Society. This position will also assist the Chief Compliance Officer with ensuring that the Fortune Society adheres to all funder and regulatory rules and requirements as well as its internal policies and procedures. S/he will work closely with program leaders to facilitate the development of effective systems of risk management and internal control that ensure program objectives are met. S/he partners with the various units and EQI Program Analysts to ensure that recommendations based on audit findings are adequately addressed in a timely manner.

    Position Summary:

    The Director of Volunteer Services is responsible for organizing and implementing a complete volunteer service program including recruitment, training, coordination and recognition. The position serves as the primary contact for volunteers and provides guidance to the volunteer committee. The Director will work to enable the incorporation of volunteer participation and engagement as a core strategic function throughout the agency. In addition to supporting various department’s goals and the accomplishment of specific tasks, the Director fosters ambassadorship by volunteers and nurtures a greater connection to the organization.
