    Position Summary:

    The J2J Program Assistant is part of Fortune’s “Jails to Jobs” (J2J) program, an initiative to service persons in the community with touchpoints within Rikers Island Correctional Facility. Under the direct supervision of the Program Manager, Jails to Jobs, the Program Assistant will support Fortune Society’s programs through evaluation of data related to service delivery and outcomes, working with J2J staff to assist with data collection points and supporting with day-to-day administrative tasks in order to monitor client activities, contract performance and program milestones.

    Position Summary:

    The Research Assistant will conduct research on barriers to safe, stable, and affordable housing among formerly incarcerated people living with HIV/AIDS who are residing in temporary housing. The Research Assistant will play a leadership role in every aspect of the research and advocacy process. Additionally, the Research Assistant will play a key role in maintaining and expanding The Fortune Society’s network of partners engaged in housing and HIV and AIDS advocacy by building relationships with key players and stakeholders, including policymakers, who can help advance the needs of formerly incarcerated PLWHAs who are residing in temporary housing.
