Ron Wilson holds a BBA in accounting from Adelphi University and an MBA in Risk Management and Finance from St. John’s University School of Risk Management and Insurance. As a Public Accountant, he has an extensive background in working in the non-profit/government industry. He managed his own accounting firm specializing in servicing non-profit organizations. As Vice President of Internal Audit he managed the audits of the Empire State Development Corporations (ESDC) WTC Disaster Recovery Program. Before joining the Fortune Society he served as Controller for the Educational Alliance, a social service agency New York City.
Ron also continues serve as an adjunct professor at Seton Hall University teaching “Financial Management for Nonprofit Organizations” as well as a lecturer for Seton Hall’s Board Leadership Institute.
