Since 2018…

Annette has lived in a family shelter with her children. With Fortune’s help, Annette has been able to move out of the shelter and into permanent housing. 

Last year…

After being released early from prison during the COVID-19 pandemic, Rafael moved into Freedom House, our emergency and transitional housing facility for men with behavioral health needs. From there, he has transitioned into The Castle in East Harlem. 

Over a decade ago…

Barbara was living with her young daughter in the shelters for three years. She was offered a permanent apartment in Castle Gardens when the building first opened and has lived there ever since.
