Max Lindeman
Member of The Fortune Society Board of Directors

Max Lindeman joined the staff of The Fortune Society in 1995, where he worked on behalf of formerly incarcerated clients in many different capacities. As Associate Vice President of Programs, Mr. Lindeman helped to design the The Fortune Society’s substance abuse and performance-based programming and clinical and quality assurance skills programs among others.

After 11 years of service at The Fortune Society, Mr. Lindeman accepted the position of Senior Director of Court Services at the Center for Community Alternatives where he continues to work on issues related to incarceration and reintegration.

Mr. Lindeman earned his Master in Social Work degree from Yeshiva University and is currently pursuing a PhD in Social Welfare, also at Yeshiva University. His dissertation will examine factors that affect successful re-entry into society following incarceration.
