Paul Lieffrig, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Paul has more than twelve years of experience in the accounting field. He most recently worked as an Audit Manager within the Nonprofit and Government Services Group at Marks Paneth & Shron LLP. In this role, he assumed full responsibility for ensuring the smooth and timely completion of audit engagements, overseeing the audit team, and acting as a liaison between the clients and the firm. His areas of expertise are accounting and tax for nonprofit entities, including community health centers, social service organizations, hospitals and heath care networks, charitable, and educational organizations. He also has extensive experience conducting OMB Circular A-133 audits for not-for-profit organizations receiving Federal assistance.
Paul began his career with Goldstein, Golub, Kessler LLP (“GGK”), a New York City-based firm, where he spent a number of years working with clients in the nonprofit sector of GGK’s healthcare practice group. Following this introduction to the healthcare industry, he worked for KPMG LLP as an audit manager conducting audits on hospitals, nursing homes and other health care organizations. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New York State Society of CPAs. He also holds a BS in Accounting from the State University College of New York at Oneonta.
