Senior Executive Team
The Fortune Society currently boasts over 175 full and part-time employees. The vast majority of our staff – approximately 70% – are formerly incarcerated individuals and/or persons with substance abuse histories and over 80% are persons of color. Fortune actively recruits staff with this life experience because we believe strongly in the concept of peer support. Our clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences with people they can relate to and emulate. This emphasis on diversity is found throughout the agency’s leadership – our senior executive team is comprised of individuals from a variety of backgrounds who bring more than 10 decades of organizational management experience, including several with long tenures as managers at Fortune and years of experience serving the criminal justice population.
